Job Type: 12-month Contract (Potential opportunity to extend) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Job Description: The Delivery Experience team is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will act as first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Primary Responsibilities include: + Develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug and implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA), and perform SQL queries. + Improve systems that gather metrics on features, and update, track, and resolve technical challenges. + Collaborate with development teams on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, and update/enhance current software. + Automate support processes and document systems. Job Qualifications: + 2 - 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer (Full Stack) + Previous experience and understanding of Java, Node JS, and AWS + Strong problem-solving abilities + must be detail-oriented and have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, + Can work independently and work well in a fast-paced environment Preferred coding skills: Perl, C/C++, and/or Java / JavaScript Other desired technical skills include Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, and UNIX/LINUX.
