Job Description

The Builder Operations and Developer Tools team is responsible for Continuous Integration using pipelines and Continuous Deployment by building AWS backend services. We are looking for a Senior Engineer with advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services infrastructure such as ECR, EC2, GC2, IAM, DynamoDB, Lambdas, CloudWatch, and API Gateways. Proficiency in Golang, Python, and PHP is required. The candidate will participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations. This includes designing and implementing a wide range of software using the AWS stack, and sometimes requires partnership with low-level embedded code software systems and architecting scalable design solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites. You must be able to navigate high levels of ambiguity and unknowns, design flexible solutions, and succeed within an open, collaborative environment. Experience developing large-scale systems with a focus on operational excellence and scalability is essential.

This position requires working onsite in the office in Redmond four days a week. The team operates in a collaborative environment focused on developing large-scale systems with an emphasis on operational excellence and scalability. The project involves launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. There is potential for extension and conversion.
