The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS).
The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform. When it is completed, the applications should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Using your technical expertise to make informed decisions.
+ Analyzing and evaluating code.
+ Supporting and/or leading development projects with moderate complexity and scope.
+ Writing automated integration and unit tests.
+ Understanding complex risk business requirements.
+ Making a positive influence on your team members and peers.
+ Communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
+ Working on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) using new/emerging technology/tools.
**What you have**
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
+ 3 plus years of coding experience in C# (.NET, .NET Core).
+ Working experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, CI/CD, Splunk (logging), PCF (Cloud), and Agile Practices.
+ Hands on experience gained through 3+ years in a software development role.
+ 2 plus years experience with full stack application development technologies, RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies.
+ 3 plus years experience with Agile/Scrum development and CI/CD experience.
+ 3 plus years proficiency with technology tools and processes.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker and Kubernetes
+ Exposure to front end system integration with Pega/Appian BPM tools.
+ Familiarity with Schwab Technology ecosystem.
+ The ability work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, and learn new technologies quickly.
+ Effective time management skills and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
