Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Application Support Admin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing the software ecosystem within our fabrication industry, with a focus on construction estimating software. The Software Administrator will be required to liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and end-users, providing support and training where necessary. Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain software applications that are integral to daily business operations. • Troubleshoot software issues, providing timely support to end-users. • Identify and implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. • Collaborate with other departments to integrate software applications with existing systems and databases. • Work closely with third-party vendors for technical support, issue resolution, and product updates. • Monitor application performance continuously, identifying areas for improvement. • Assist with the support and maintenance of business applications, including HR systems. • Develop and implement process automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting or other tools. • Stay updated on software updates, patches, and new releases to ensure applications are current and secure. • Take responsibility for software license renewals and distribution management. • Utilize your skills in Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, C++, GitHub, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, AutoCAD to perform your duties effectively. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Backend Development. • Familiarity with Bug Tracking to manage and report software bugs. • Proficiency in programming using C++. • Knowledge of AB Testing to compare versions of software applications. • Understanding and experience with Agile Scrum methodologies. • Proficiency in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications. • Experience in API Development for functionality sharing across software systems. • Familiarity with ASP.NET for web application development. • Knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D and 3D computer-aided design and drafting.
