You Are:

Looking for a dedicated and experienced developer to join the development team (IBM WCS V6.0, V7.0, V8.0, V9.1 (IBM WebSphere/HCL Commerce Server)). They will participate in and lead design sessions, and code new features for various projects to support and expand the eCommerce platform. The right candidate will be asked to play the role of development lead on projects, to ensure the delivery of high quality artifacts, and to adhere and follow SDLC.

 

The Opportunity:

·       Promotion, checkout, Shipping, Data Loads.

·       Develops features for a global eCommerce website.

·       Creates conceptual and detailed technical design documents.

·       Provides accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules).

·       Documents and executes unit and integration tests.

·       Defines and implements standards and best practices for software development.

·       Participates in code review sessions as a coordinator, owner, reader, recorder or observer.

·       Supports the needs and requirements of other I.S. departments.

·       Provides 3rd-level application support for production installed components.

·       Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What You Need:

·       Minimum 10 years’ experience with Web and UI development using WCS, HTML, JavaScript, React and CSS.

·       Minimum 4 years’ experience developing in a distributed application environment.

·       Minimum 1 years’ experience as a development lead on major projects.

·       Must have working knowledge of Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Web Services, SOAP, and XML technologies.

·       Experience programming in one major database: DB2, MS SQL, or Oracle.

·       Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and applied UML experience.

·       Must have experience leading at least one project through a formal software development lifecycle.

·       Hands on experience in WCS modules/subsystems such as Order, Payment, Catalogue, Member,

·       Having experience in integrating micro services with UI like React JS.

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Washington

Compensation Range:   $95,000-$143,750

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
