Software Developer Advisor

GDIT provides enterprise-wide IT services in support of US Southern Command’s (SOUTHCOM) mission critical operations throughout their Area of Responsibility (AOR), which consists of Central America, South America, and select countries in the Caribbean. SOUTHCOM is headquartered in Doral, FL.

Qualifications: 

4+ years of JavaScript, HTML, CSS3+ MS Power platform3+ Experience working in ServiceNow2 year developing in ServiceNow2+ years of standing up/developing backend Applications .Net2+ years of standing up/developing backend Applications SharePoint apps5+ End to End DevOps hands-on knowledge, test automation with tools like GitHub, ADOPS, or similar CI/CD tools4+ years of application development and/or testing in Agile methodology3+ hands on SQL SkillsTest and maintain self-service automation frameworks and platforms to enable easy and efficient provisioning of resourcesCollaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, streamlining power automate workflows, and reducing manual interventions3+ years of hands-on experience, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines leveraging re-usable code

Nice to have

2+ Microsoft BI tool developing intuitive dashboard3+ Developing ServiceNow app

Education Required: 

BA/BS with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years of experience.US Citizenship Required  Military Experience a plus

Certification(s) Required: 

DoD 8570 compliant: IAT Level II or III Baseline Certification. Computing Environment (CE) Certificate. More Details: https://public.cyber.mil/wid/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications 

Certification(s) Desired:  

IAM Level II or III Baseline Certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.). IT Service Management Certification (ITIL v4).  

Clearance Required: 

Interim SECRET clearance to start, ability to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET clearance and SCI access. 

Travel Requirements: 

Up to 10% travel required.
