Job Description

The main responsibilities of this position include programming and maintaining software tools used for calibration-related function development. The focus is to program an existing tool within a new software environment to allow generic, company-wide usage, including maintenance programs. This requires interaction not only with other software tool development engineers but also with technical experts to ensure the newly created software tool will deliver the output needed by the engineering teams.

ResponsibilitiesProgram and maintain software tools for calibration-related function development.Program existing tools within a new software environment for company-wide usage.Maintain software programs and ensure their operational efficiency.Collaborate with other software tool development engineers.Exchange ideas with technical experts to meet engineering team needs.Essential SkillsKnowledge and experience with programming and coding in multiple languages, including Python, JavaScript, SQL, database programming, MATLAB, and Databricks.Understanding of data structures and algorithms.Familiarity with testing procedures and debugging knowledge.Knowledge of operating systems and text editing software.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in engineering R&D and software development, preferably in the automotive industry.Master's degree with emphasis in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
