Job Description
Our Algorithms, Modeling & Assessments Division is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with Windows and Linux OS experience. The position involves developing and improving an existing weapon effects software architecture for advanced physics-based computational models deployed through standalone applications, web services, and Docker containers. This system is used by the Department of Defense. Candidates should have a strong passion for software development and be committed to producing quality production software at all stages of the software lifecycle.

Candidates must be within 30-40 minutes of the office located at 8537 Six Forks Rd, NC. The majority of work is remote, with occasional on-site work required for classified tasks, trainings, and demonstrations. Working from home is allowed after 1-3 months, contingent upon progress towards becoming fully productive and integrated into the team. Performance issues may result in suspension of work-from-home privileges. Travel is minimal, likely less than one week per year.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00
