Description Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support application development, integration, and database management. The ideal candidate will design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows, and optimize system performance. Key Responsibilities: + Utilize development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). + Develop, manage, and test web services/APIs, focusing on third-party vendor integrations. + Use analytics tools such as Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to develop reports. + Implement and maintain source control practices. + Automate and optimize manual processes to improve productivity and service delivery. + Conduct requirements analysis, write software specifications, and create technical documentation. + Monitor database performance, apply patches, and perform updates as needed. + Manage application implementation, including verifying system requirements, installing software, and configuring databases. + Provide consultation and support to users for application implementation and troubleshooting. + Build reusable code and libraries for future use. + Research and evaluate new technologies to improve system efficiency. + Provide daily operational support and after-hours production maintenance. + Advise users on software updates and ensure timely application of patches. + Collaborate with IT teams to resolve application and system conflicts. + Generate data extracts and reports as required. + Evaluate, test, and upgrade software while training users as needed. + Adhere to ITIL and ITSM best practices. + Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and end-users. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in software development, database design, and support. + Proficiency in Microsoft Server, SQL Server, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and IIS. + Experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. + Strong SQL skills, including query development, report generation, and stored procedures. + Proficiency in C++, C#, PowerShell, SFTP, NTFS, SSRS, VMware, Azure, Active Directory, SMTP, SSL Certificates, and PGP Encryption. + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and end-users. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Experience training and supporting end-users on multiple applications. + Ability to adapt to an evolving technical environment and implement continuous improvements. + Must possess a valid driver’s license and have transportation for travel to remote sites as needed.
