Description We are in the process of expanding our team in COLUMBUS, Ohio, with the addition of a Software Developer. The selected individual will be engrossed in a variety of tasks ranging from writing and testing code, maintaining application systems, ensuring optimal performance of production programs, and providing technical support. This role does not fall under any specific employment type. Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and debug new and existing software programs • Work on the enhancement of our public website, APIs, mobile applications, and other components • Assist in analyzing business functions and the technical design of code and database solutions • Ensure the integrity of program code and maintain databases • Address any issues that arise in databases and provide technical support to end users • Monitor production programs to ensure expected performance and respond to errors and emergency problems • Install and configure software as needed • Contribute in optimizing existing programs to improve performance and reduce footprint • Generate procedural documentation as required Requirements • Proficiency in Backend Development is required, with a focus on building robust and scalable systems. • Experience with Bug Tracking to ensure the timely resolution of software issues and improve overall product quality. • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology is essential, demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment. • Expertise in API Development for seamless integration and interaction between different software components. • Familiarity with ASP.NET to develop dynamic web applications as part of the job responsibilities. • Proficiency in C# - Sharp programming language for creating applications on the Microsoft platform. • Strong SQL skills are required, focusing on database management and optimization.
