Software Developer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI is seeking a software developer to support the NSWCCD Division 65 Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) Laboratory in establishing and developing technology and infrastructure to support the collection and analysis of data in support of monitoring the health of DoN systems and platforms. This may include, but is not limited to, ships, submarines, ground vehicles, and unmanned systems. **Responsibilities:** In this role your task could include updates to IT infrastructure, technical support for sensor/data acquisition, data management, software development, report development, and documentation. This also includes identifying and accessing applicable data, developing and updating data analysis algorithms, comparing alternatives for data analysis environments, providing support for the software and data analysis tools, generation of reports and analysis in support of SHM and condition-based maintenance for ships, submarines, ground vehicles, and unmanned systems. + Provide support and administration of system architectures and development environments that are capable of utilizing test, simulation, and operational platform data. + Perform engineering analyses in support of validation and verification of algorithm development within National Instruments, VePRO, MATLAB, and other software environments using directed studies. + Provide support for data collection, processing of operational data, and engineering analysis to monitor operations and refine algorithms. + Provide support for development and administration of data architecture, data storage, databases, and software development. + Provide for and update software documentation to include analysis reports and algorithm specifications + Provide for development of displays for presentation of real-time analysis summaries to provide actionable and real-time status information. + Provide support in developing APIs to allow different individual data systems to work together. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + B.S. in Computer Science, Computer engineering, or similar degree + 1+ years of experience with Python, C++, MATLAB, or other similar languages + 1+ years experience with code development frameworks including Scrum/Agile + Experience with Git repos + Proven ability to problem solve on the fly + Proven ability finding novel ways to solve difficult problems + Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance _Desired:_ + Current secret clearance - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
