Job Description
Program in Python to write software for drivers on Test Equipment. Separate out the low-level details of talking to instruments from the high-level test procedures.
ResponsibilitiesEfficiently develop Python software in an automated test system environment.Distill system-level requirements into individual specifications for electrical and software components of a system and select appropriate hardware/software solutions.Effectively troubleshoot the systems associated with the Python program, including not only the software but other aspects such as Test System.Write technical documentation including specifications, verification procedures, and reports.Test prototypes and/or production systems.Essential SkillsProficiency in Python development.Experience in software development for test systems.Strong background in Object Oriented Programming.Experience with version control systems such as SVN.Knowledge of the Medical Device Software Development Life Cycle.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in test engineering and automation.Knowledge of automatic test equipment and test development.Experience embedded software design.Work Environment
This role is based in the engineering department, which includes working in cubes and a test lab.E
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr.
