Job Description

GDIT is searching for a Software Developer to support our customer in Wiesbaden, Germany. The Software Developer will work as part of team interacting with customers to conduct business analysts, gather, define, and validate requirements, and build applications to improve workflows, automate tasks, and modernize applications.

Web Software development and designDesign and development and maintenance of SharePoint portalsWriting unit tests for React applications using libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, etc.Designing and deploying systems into cloud environments such as AWS or Azure via CLI or using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret Level Security ClearanceEducation: BA/BS DegreeExperience: 5 years’ experienceCertifications: DoD 8570 Level II CertificationSkills: Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Web software development and design; Proficiency in the use of one or more Javascript-based web technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, Node, React, Angular, VueJS; Building multi-stage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integrations using YAML-based configuration; Ability to pass TESA requirementTechnical Skills: Knowledge of SharePoint 2016/SharePoint Online in common terms (document library, lists, web parts, and etc); working knowledge of SharePoint REST API; Working knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS; Working knowledge of TypeScript, React,  and familiarity of various modern web development technologies such as Tailwind, Gulp, NPM, Webpack, SASS, and etc.; Working knowledge of writing unit tests for React applications using libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, etc.; Working knowledge of Git and experience with at least one CI/CD tool, such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc Knowledge of building multi-stage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integrations using YAML-based configuration

Desired Skillset:

Working knowledge of Git, code commit, code branching, pull requestsWorking Knowledge of SharePoint SPFXWorking knowledge of designing and deploying systems into cloud environments such as AWS or Azure via CLI or using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationExperience working in a collaborative development team with Agile methodologyWorking Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools, particularly PowerApps and PowerAutomate
