Software Developer Configuration Management Job Description Summary:  + We are seeking an exceptional Software Developer- Configuration Management to support The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) IGC program. The Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program at Scott AFB provides unified access to data and services for material asset visibility, supply chain management, and logistics across combatant commands, military services, and federal agencies. Roles & Responsibilities:   + Supports a wide range of configuration management activities, including planning, identification, change identification and control, status reporting and configuration auditing of product information. + Identify the configuration items of products developed and delivered to the client. + Assist in the development and execution of the configuration management plan, which will include CMP organization; methods, procedures, and controls; baselines; configuration identification; change control; configuration status account; CM audits of total configuration; ClearCase CM repository; and CM process. + Identify and document the functional and physical characteristics of configuration items + Control changes to configuration items and their documentation + Provide an accurate accounting of configuration item status and configuration change documentation + Conduct configuration management audits to verify compliance with the configuration management plan + Interact with various teams to ensure proper implementation of the configuration management plan + Maintain and manage tools and systems used for configuration management + Ensure that all changes to the system are recorded, evaluated, approved, and implemented + Provide input to design and development teams for improvement of system reliability and maintainability + Track all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration + Support other activities as directed by Program Manager Requirements:   + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR + Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: CND, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP + 5 years of software configuration management experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies.  Eligibility Requirements:   + DoD Secret Clearance + This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))     Desired Skills:   + Working knowledge of Python, Java, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, MVC, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net.Net/Core in Visual Studio; Computer aided software engineering tools; Scrum knowledge; Fortify; Gitlab, SQL, Psql; SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB; GIS + USTRANSCOM/DoD IT Systems Experience  Location:  + REMOTE   Who We Are:   + D&G, Solerity, UNCOMN and Teradata are proven prime companies at Scott AFB who have joined together to provide the highest quality team and support to USTRANSCOM across multiple programs, including IGC.
