ProSidian Seeks a Software Developer - Engineering Process - Information Technology (IT105) headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support requirements for Environmental Management Sector Clients. 

This Procurement Services / Building 707-9B Rm11 / Aiken, SC 29857 | MID LEVEL - HR position currently best aligns with the Software Developer - Engineering Process Labor Category. Ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive “Jugaad” and dialogue targeting mission success.  ProSidian Team Members work to provide provide BOA Support Services for multiple department requirement Service Areas (SA) for Savannah River Remediation LLC (The SRMC/LW Contractor) at the U.S. Department of Energy | Savannah River Site (DOE-SRS) in Aiken, SC to support the evolving needs of the organization..

Software Developer - Engineering Process - Information Technology (IT105) Candidates shall work to support requirements for BOA Price RFQ202206 Software Developer - Engineering Process IT105 Rev1 (Information Technology Services) and  

 Analyze system requirements and identify testing strategies that maximize test coverage and/or improve system reliability and performancePrepare detailed test plans and test cases, and consult with business analysts on testing options and strategies, including applicable regulatory requirementsExecute and monitor testing activities and ensure they are completed as expectedTrack, report and verify software defects to ensure the resolution of issues foundDevelop and maintain new and existing automation to improve test efficiencyDevelop software programs that comply with site requirements and design specifications.Implement and maintain internally developed web applications with a specific emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability.Review and understand customer requirements and specifications.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

BS Degree in Computer Science with minimum of 2 years related experience Associate’s Degree with minimum of 4 years practical experience High School Diploma with minimum of 8 years practical experience  Work Hours:

A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day, 5 days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day, 4 days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, 5 days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30 minute lunch.

Area Security Access:

A security clearance is not required.

Experience/Skills:

Working knowledge of QA methodology, testing techniques and approaches relating to desktop and web applicationsExperience with Automated Testing Tools Experience with design, coding, and deployment of applications using .NET, C#, VB.NET, and SQL;Familiar with Web-based Application Development using ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, WCF, and WinForms;Thorough understanding of network, application, and data security best practices;Ability to troubleshoot a web-based application;Experience with systems documentation and architecture diagrams;Solid problem solving skills;Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical person.
