Software Developer I
Description ** Hybrid - they are flexible on which days you choose, but are back in office 3 days on-sight in Golden Valley, MN. Must Haves: + Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship + 3-5 years of experience integrating between applications with Informatica or similar data integration tools + Experience integrating between applications + Experience using Hub & Spoke Model + Ability to learn and collaborate in a team environment + Familiarity with Oracle Cloud A large construction company is currently seeking a Integration Developer that will be responsible for participating in all activities related to the development of solutions within our applications architecture; working with other groups to design, document, develop, test, debug and implement solutions within our applications portfolio. Tools in their environment: Informatica - sub layers within informatica are (IACS, MDM hub and Spoke model, CDI and CAI layers to do integrations) - Need experience with informatica or interested in working on Informatic - Experience building integration with CDI and CAI is a must - Doesn't need to have hub and spoke model, willing to train if they know how to build integrations with informatica - Willing to train on candidate with cloud, IACS, NOT if they don't have experience with CDI and CAI SUMMARY: Responsible for engaging in all activities related to integrating various applications. This includes collaborating with other teams to design, document, develop, test, debug, and implement solutions using integration tools. Supporting and enhancing integrations, this is an opportunity to learn and grow into a position to get their own projects. LOCATION: Golden Valley, MN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement modifications to purchased applications or custom programs according to specifications and best practices. • Collaborate with internal business partners and IT colleagues to define detailed requirements and system interfaces, assessing the value of vendor-provided software modifications versus custom modules. • Provide ongoing development support, troubleshoot production issues, and apply business and systems knowledge throughout the process. • Research and analyze business problems to help improve daily work processes and develop recommended solutions. • Work independently and within a team environment as a highly motivated developer. • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Exhibit strong written and verbal English communication skills. • Maintain a positive attitude and professional customer service skills. • Build effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. • Practice active listening and effective communication, being open to diverse input and feedback. (Why 4-8yrs: the role is trying to fill is more of a mid-level that they can train and mold.) • Experience with integration tools such as Informatica, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Dell Boomi. • Experience with languages such as Java, Python, C#, SQL • Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle • Familiarity with project management methodologies, including providing estimates, status updates, and issue escalation. • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including technical documentation and testing practices. • Experience in a production support model, utilizing various logging and debugging methods. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
