Software Development Engineer II - Sales Application Engineering

Why We Have This Role 

\n

The Internal Development team architects develops, and maintains tools that our coworkers in Sales, Services, and Customer Success use every day. Our tools are critical to onboarding new Qualtrics customers, tracking product usage, viewing license information, and ultimately helping our customers to be successful with the Qualtrics product. We work primarily with Django, React, and MySQL, and all of our services are hosted on AWS.

Things You’ll Do

\n\nDeveloping scalable, fast, robust, and simple self-service data analytics solutions to solve complex business problems\nClose collaboration with your team to collect and incorporate feedback into your feature design\nDrive operational excellence by investigating production issues, driving root cause analysis, and follow-up actions for mitigation\nImprove performance, availability, reliability, scale, throughput, and latency\nWork with your team in order to meet the customer work you're doing, understand the decisions that are being made, and make your voice heard\n\n

What We're Looking For on Your Resume

\n\nBA/BS degree in computer science or related field\n2-5 years experience in developing and operating highly-available web services\nExperience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design, continuous delivery, source-control repositories, test automation, and build/deploy systems)\nDevelopment experience in a high-level language, such as Javascript, PHP, or Python (bonus points for experience with Django and React)\nDatabase experience (preferably SQL)\n\n
