We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Ground Satellite Software Developer working on satellite Command and Control systems to join our team located in Englewood, CO.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary duties are to develop ground satellite software applications, interface software and database and telemetry processing for satellite systems.Perform flight segment (satellite operations) software architecture design as part of the overall satellite system solution.Perform all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements definition, software design, development, test, debug and documentation.Design, develop and verify test software and simulation capability.Troubleshoot system anomalies related to software, system configuration, network interfaces and operating system issues.Support functional and performance testing of equipment, subsystems and systems in support of satellite assembly, integration and test.Apply technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve engineering problems, including future applications, and engineering developments.Help prepare technical responses to bids, presentation materials and reports, for a variety of applications and customers.Helps to support and actively participate in customer and supplier meetings and presentations at all project stages.Liaise with customer and supplier staff, and staff from other parts of GA.Performs other duties assigned.
