What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is looking for a Software Engineering SME to support a centralized cloud repository with scalable cloud storage to incorporate evolving data sources across the unclassified and classified enclaves. General responsibilities include:
Design, development, testing, and management of the application development projects in support of IT infrastructure.Programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks.Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.Leading technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators.Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programsProvides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staffProvides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearanceBachelor’s DegreeTEN (10) or more years of experience related to Software Engineering or Software Development and/or CodingWhat Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with ElasticSearch and OpenSearch, .NET, C#, Javascript, and Java, Terraform, Experience developing and maintaining components in AWS, SpringBoot framework.Experience designing cross domain analytics platforms.The annual salary range for this position is $144,400.00-$216,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
