Software Developer - Train Planning Systems Live (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our growing software engineering team.

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies. Your primary focus will be on C++ development, but we are also looking for candidates with experience in other languages such as Python and Java.

Key responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement complex software applications and systems using C++, as well as other programming languages as neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutionsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets established standards and best practicesParticipate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the softwareStay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in software developmentContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and toolsWe're looking for someone who has: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C++ programmingProficient in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software architectureFamiliarity with additional programming languages, such as Python and JavaExperience with Qt6, Docker and Git is a plusExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development environmentStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluent written and spoken EnglishExperience with cloud-based technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plusFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code) is a plusKnowledge of software testing frameworks and methodologies is a plusWhat you can expect from us:
