Our work depends on Software Developer joining our team to provide, maintain, and continue support of classified and unclassified collaborative environments and custom collaborative software (including applications, hybrid modules, and tools) used by the client's community.

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications softwareSupport the following tasks with regards to documentation, development, and information system security: Continue to leverage the cloud offerings to engineer, deploy, and/or support solutions designed to help the client take full advantage of opportunities offered through digital transformation.  Develop, document, and maintain required systems to include, but not limited to Systems Concept of Operations, O&M procedures, and systems drawing packages for core network components and network interface functions. Design, implement, and maintain information architectures to include access control. Create and maintain configuration management and maintenance records, reference and instruction materials. Use configuration management to capture the processes and procedures to identify items, baseline configuration items and control changes to the configuration baseline. Evaluate changes, approve, and prioritize such as sequencing for releasing fixes through a Change Control Board (CCB). Provide training (user, classroom, and/or virtual), and assist, as necessary, with the design, implementation, and maintenance of project-related workspaces and access hierarchy. Provide twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week system support as needed.Provide application-based tool service support and/or acquisition recommendations. Conduct research for the systems software tools for integration and/or implementation at request by the Government. Maintain the software tool solutions and corresponding software licenses; forecast and implement current application upgrades. Provide Software Services for launch enterprise custom collaborative software (applications, hybrid modules, and/or tools) development, integration, and maintenance services as required to satisfy unique mission assurance and mission support requirements.The range of associated tasks to meet this support include, but are not limited to, requirements capture and analysis, requirements specification creation, software design, development, integration and testing, training, and maintenance on an end-to-end basis. Adding, modifying, and deleting functionality and/or migrating or integrating new capabilities or applications shall be based on the mission support requirement needs; focus on enhancing the community collaboration to improve application effectiveness and quality shall also be assessed.Maintain the current set of web-hosted, custom collaborative software applications developed and provide steady-state corrective maintenance that fix application problems caused by design, logic, coding, or development errors. Corrective maintenance shall also be undertaken to ensure continuing operations for version, platform, system configuration, and infrastructure changes.  Interfacing with other client's infrastructure and service providers may be required for hosting needs, accessibility testing, and technical assistance in achieving and application readiness.Participates in special projects as required.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
● Preferred Skills: Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server with experience writing stored procedures. General understanding software development lifecycle.  Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude is important.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
