Northrop Grumman’s Corporate enterprise platform organization is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Software Developer to support the strategy and capabilities of our Next Gen ServiceNow Technology team. In this position, you will become part of a team of experts supporting our ServiceNow platform that is delivering intuitive, consumer-centric, industry leading, and secure solutions.  You will build and code applications and/or modules within the ServiceNow framework, compile technical documentation, and analyze system capabilities to identify output requirements, data import requirements and programming techniques.  You will need to be a self-starter who can work in an agile environment focused on innovative service delivery.  Your excellent technical, communication, and collaboration skills will be utilized as you work with passionate, motivated individuals across the enterprise. 

This is a remote/virtual position. This could change, based on business conditions.

Responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to:

Designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions in support of enterprise initiativesModifying maintaining, and modernizing existing ServiceNow solutionsDemonstrating proficiency with workflow automation, User Interface (UI) policies, data polices, actions, business rules and client scriptsMentoring, training, and demonstrating to other professionals, as requiredCollaborating with product owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsUsing various communication channels and software to interact with virtual customers and development teamsCreating technical documentation of software changesPerforming emergency on-call duties

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree) with a minimum of 2 years of related experienceat least 2 years of ServiceNow development experience using ServiceNow’s App Engine to create applications and digital workflowsProficient in the development of technical solutions such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShellUnderstanding of SQL database connections, object structures and queriesAbility to research new technologies for solution creationSelf-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving customer requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing prioritiesGreat attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skillsCapable of working independently as well as in a team and cross-team environmentAbility to travel, on occasion, to support different locations

Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
