Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information Office is seeking a Level 2 (early career) Software Development Analyst with CAD design and administration experience to support and maintain Electrical CAD applications (Siemens Capital and IAI HarnesSys) within unclassified and classified areas. This position can be based out of Roy, UT, Redondo Beach, CA, Rancho Bernardo, CA, or Melbourne, FL.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
Provide end-user support of Electrical CAD engineering software included in the Engineering Systems Pool (ESP) - Siemens Capital and IAI HarnesSysProvide system maintenance, license management, software installations, upgrade deployments, operations support, test support, and system troubleshooting while meeting software compliance standardsMonitor, address, and resolve production environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etcDocument all aspects of system support such that knowledge is readily shared among all those tasked with supporting Electrical CAD applicationsMaintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging engineering applications, products and technologiesBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or other STEM related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in similar / related field OR Master's degree in a STEM related field with zero (0) years of related experienceMust possess and maintain or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security ClearanceMust possess and maintain or be able to obtain TS/SCIMust possess and maintain or be able to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of start dateExperience with Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating SystemsExperience with Server/Client installationsExperience with application administrationMust work well with others in a professional setting regardless of skillsetsAbility to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking toolsMust be able to work in the office as this is not a work from home or hybrid position.Preferred Qualifications:
Security+CE certifiedExperience with AWS CloudFamiliarity with the functions, processes, and capabilities in native CAD applications and Data Management.Experience supporting CAD in Windows and Linux environments.Fluency in at least one computer programming language.Ability to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
