The Alexa Smart Home Cameras team is seeking an experienced backend software development engineer. The ideal candidate is an innovative self-starter who is looking for an opportunity to contribute building highly scalable systems for IoT space.

This is an early stage initiative with a fast paced, highly collaborative start up like environment inside . You will build scalable solutions incorporating cutting edge big data, smart home devices and cloud services.

You will be successful if you are flexible and entrepreneurial, comfortable operating with ambiguity and willing to develop quick proof of concepts. Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
- Build and maintain distributed video streaming systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
