The ideal candidate is passioned about machine learning, data engineering, and MLOps and will work closely with data scientists and other engineering teams to implement next-generation voice experiences for the Amazon Customers.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer with a strong technical background, customer obsession and bias for action with a track record of leading and delivering robust solutions quickly. In this role, you will:

* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available distributed systems for speech recognition and associated machine learning workflows.
* Own and evolve the MLOps pipelines that power the training, evaluation, and deployment of our models.
* Build robust quality monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliable end-user experiences.
* Collaborate closely with research scientists, product managers, and other engineering teams to drive the roadmap and deliver innovative voice capabilities.
* Mentor more junior engineers and help grow the technical expertise of the team.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in speech technology, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure.
