Being a member of our team, you will be: * Having significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product. * Responsible for solving algorithmically complex problems; building services that can scale to millions of requests and deployed globally delivering an exceptional customer experience. * Building systems that will impact millions of customers and create multi-million dollar revenue opportunities, ship in just a couple of weeks and instantly measure the dollar value of what you have developed. * Using advanced technologies and AI to infer various datasources to provide most relevant suggestions to our customers and to improve the discovery of items. * Working with a group of top-notch software developers and applied scientists, seasoned product and program managers, and creative visual designers who form a great team to raise the bar on the customer experience. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
