We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for an AWS Training & Certification initiative to address cloud skills development. This program will provide learners with the required AWS Cloud and information technology knowledge, hands-on experience, and skills needed for in-demand entry level cloud roles. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team to design and develop services and capabilities for learners. They will dive deep into the most complex technical problems and bring expertise to architecture and design decisions that range from user experience recommendations to supporting a data layer at a global scale. They will be proactive, collaborate well across teams, and exercise consistent high-judgment that aligns with organizational goals.
Key job responsibilities
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the learning industry
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through software automation
• Collaborate on our technology roadmap, turn visions into reality.
• Mentor junior team members to help them grow their development skills
A day in the life
This role can be located in the following AWS office locations including: Arlington, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle.
