Job Description

The Software Engineer in this role will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop software for robotic applications related to package handling. They will be responsible for developing web-based user interfaces for the control, monitoring, and visualization of robotic applications. Additionally, they will design, implement, and maintain software that integrates and enhances robotic capabilities to deliver product features.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop web-based user interfaces for control, monitoring, and visualization of robotic applications.Design, implement, and maintain software that integrates and enhances robotic capabilities.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop software for robotic applications related to package handling.Essential SkillsProficiency in Python and JavaScriptExperience with UI developmentKnowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System)Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu)Experience in System design and Design PatternsUnderstanding of Asynchronous/Concurrent ProgrammingFamiliarity with VCS (Git)Experience with issue tracking systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar fieldPreferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related fieldRobotics experienceExpert level understanding of API development (RESTful, websockets)Experience with Warehouse Management/Control Systems (WMS/WCS)Proficiency in NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)Knowledge of 3D visualization (three.js, babylon.js)Experience with Messaging SystemsUnderstanding of CI/CD processesKnowledge of Modern web application frameworksExperience with Containerization (Docker)Understanding of parallel/distributed systemsWork Environment

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00
