Through these efforts, we support Autodesk’s educational mission by equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their academic and professional pursuits. **Position Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to build scalable and robust solutions that deliver a seamless user experience. Location: In this position you will work Hybrid in Portland, OR. **Responsibilities** + Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies + Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions + Write Clean and Efficient Code: Produce well-structured, reusable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards + Implement Responsive Designs: Ensure the applications are responsive, user-friendly, accessible and provide an optimal user experience across various devices and platforms + Integrate APIs and Cloud Services: Develop and maintain APIs and services for seamless integration with third-party cloud services, CDNs and internal tools + Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization + Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high performance and reliability **Minimum Qualifications** + 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack engineer or similar role + Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field + Proficiency in Front-End Technologies: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js + Proficiency in Back-End Technologies: Solid experience with server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java + Database Management: Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases + API Development: Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL **Preferred Qualifications** + Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail + Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders + Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $110,300 and $190,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
