Job Duties:

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing and deployment of quality software. Work in an agile environment producing designs and code that our customers will use every day. Develop quality software that is used by some of the world's largest technology firms, fixed income asset managers, and custodian banks. Participate in Agile meetings to contribute with development strategies and product roadmap. Own critical processes that are highly available and scalable. Produce tremendous feature enhancements and react quickly to emerging technologies. Encourage collaboration and stimulating creativity. Help mentor entry-level developers. Contribute to design and architectural decisions. Test and validate in development and production code that they own, deploy, and monitor. Understand, respond to, and address customer issues with empathy and in a timely manner. Design, build, deploy, and maintain quality code that is clear, well-structured, concise, and well tested. Help others improve code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents quickly and effectively. Solve complex problems that can require research or collaboration. Effectively communicate in a variety of venues. Deliver well tested features by estimated task completion date. Recognize and follow secure coding guidelines, architects for security. Strong command of unit testing for thorough code coverage. Regularly engage with customers and field. May telecommute (commutability to the office required).

Job Requirements:

Employer will accept a master’s degree in computer science or related field, and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
