Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and services, with a strong focus on Python and Go. You will play a key role in building and maintaining RESTful APIs, developing data integration solutions, and implementing ETL processes. Additionally, you will leverage AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications and data solutions, ensuring secure and efficient integration with third-party services.Skill Sets
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries/frameworks.
Extensive experience working with Cloud Services like AWS, GCP, Azure.
In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL tools/processes.
Familiarity with consuming data from third-party services.
Understanding of API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT etc.
Knowledge of software security practices and common vulnerabilities. Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
Understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Strong Object-Oriented Programming principles.
Ability to collaborate and work with multiple teams across different time-zones
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Go).
Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Prior experience in an agile development environment.
