Responsibilities About this role The Software Development Engineering Manager is responsible for technical and people management and is actively engaged in developing the team to deliver on business priorities that flow through Waterfall projects or Agile Scrum leadership (Product Managers and Product Owners). The Software Development Engineering Manager also manages up and manages out to promote the team and build relationships within the larger organization.Oversee the technical application design, construction, implementation and deployment for assigned QA automation efforts.Provide Automation Engineering Coordination (AEC) for multiple activities. Act as interface between business and technicalteams including IT Architecture, data resource management, QA managers, technology infrastructure and operations, ReleaseOperations, and business stakeholders/change agents; monitor and provide status of portfolio of projects and perform Planviewproject methodology compliance audits and oversee all QA activities supporting multiple application development projectswhere Automation Engineering work is performed. JOB DUTIES Define technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with the Corporate Business Systems Lead the team to build the next generation of applications, platforms and services by providing technical expertise throughout the SDLC Review test plans and results providing guidance with the development of test plans to assist the business with development of user acceptance criteria Develop relationships with our Business Operations partners and regularly update them with what is transpiring related to automation Establish relevant learning plans that grow the team professionally and technically Motivate the team to share ideas and learnings to promote innovation and excitement throughout the team Take an active role in defining metrics that measure our ability to deliver on business and service level objectives; use the metrics to improve process and product As a servant leader, work closely with the team to anticipate and remove impediments Perform other duties as assigned Conform with all company policies and procedures Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate?
