Kforce has a client in Decatur, TX that is seeking a Software Development Lead responsible for leading a high performing team of engineers in analyzing users' needs to achieve their goals and initiatives, writing reliable, scalable, and performant code within the platform to support the web platform. Essential Job Functions: * Guide a team of developers in following Agile processes for technical solutioning, address challenges proactively, and encourage cross-functional collaboration to deliver value efficiently and effectively * Collaborate with Product Owners and team members to translate requirements into technical tasks, manage technical debt for long-term maintainability, and assist with refining processes for story definition, task breakdown, and sprint planning * Collaborate with the architecture team to implement technical guidelines and ensure alignment with product and organizational goals * Mentor team members while promoting coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance through code reviews and testing * Stay up to date on modern technology trends to guide the team with innovative and effective solutions * Demo newly developed products or features to the team and/or stakeholders * Attend technical calls with clients that involve data transfers (imports/exports), custom development work, and/or single sign-on (SSO) integrations * Develop new features and enhance existing applications of high complexity, investigate and resolve complex software-related issues, and maintain dependencies up to major version upgrades (SemVer) * Create CRUD stored procedures, user-defined functions, and other SQL objects as needed to create robust, scalable, and performant solutions to implement technical specifications and support future, anticipated requirements * Perform other related job functions as assigned
