Software Development Manager, AI Security
Description We are seeking a Software Development Manager to join our AI Security organization, and to lead a software engineering team that builds AI-powered security solutions to reimagine how Amazon discovers and protects customer data and applications. This role will drive partnerships with applied scientists and security engineers to develop innovative technologies to solve our hardest AI security problems, and build intelligent paved path solutions that support builder teams across Amazon throughout their software development journey to deliver delightful and secure customer experiences. You will be leading an engineering team that values software development best practices in building and owning mission critical security solutions with high standards of developer experience, scalability, reliability, and performance. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience Preferred Qualifications - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
