Leadership is provided through creating and executing strategies, making decisions for enhancement, changes, upgrades, and initiating new projects to meet changing business needs. This position also manages a wide spectrum of technology platforms. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.** + Maintain comprehensive software license documentation, review all invoice payments for hardware, software and services. + Establish appropriate maintenance schedules for system and equipment to provide ongoing performance with minimal down time. + Consult and coordinate with others (supervisor, vendors, experts, etc.) about problems such as equipment performance, output quality, and maintenance schedule. + Understand SD-WAN, LAN, and wireless network technology. + Significant experience with virtualization technology (server and storage) to include Active Directory, SaaS applications, and Hybrid cloud technology + Manage all aspects of staffing including employee schedules, on call coverage, PTO, and project and implementation delivery plans + Significant experience with the Microsoft development stack including MS-SQL server + Practical experience with Agile and Lean methodologies. + Other duties may be assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or MIS, or more than seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Five+ years of work experience managing a complex computer/network environment, preferably in a manufacturing institution. + Fundamental experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and security testing tools. + Experience with manufacturing ERP, data processing infrastructure, data security tools. + Experience working with data communications such as SD-WAN + Experience with Microsoft Windows and VMware operating systems. + Ability to respond to problems and challenges in non-scheduled hours of operation, including the need occasionally to work evenings, weekend days and holidays. **A pre-employment Background Check and 6 panel (no THC) Drug screen required.** **A.Y.
