$145,000.00 /Yr. - $160,000.00 /Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Axos Bank is looking for an experienced, product-oriented Software Development Manager to join our software engineering team and help ensure that the experience of our clients is second to none. This development group is focused on building the next generation of our clearing platform, Axos Advisor Services. This role will utilize full-stack web development, designing interactive web applications with Outsystems, developing web services (REST/SOAP), integrating with vendor APIs and screens. Our goal is to create a seamless, all-in-one experience for our customers, and provide a platform that gives customers a full, 360-degree view of their financials. This position will be based onsite and located in Centennial CO.Responsibilities:
Work with IT leadership to define and build functional and non-functional requirements across the enterprise portfolioLead one or more development teams of near-shore or local developersDesign and prototype enterprise-wide solutions with a focus on security, performance, continuous integration and code quality (unit and integration tests)Understand legacy system and work towards conversion to microservice architecture in parallel while supporting business as usualCommunicate and collaborate with other leads, development teams and development managersIdentify and implement opportunities to continuously improve Axos’ development capabilitiesRefactor codebase to realize just-in-time design within the contextual designWork closely and communicate proactively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationShould be hands on and capable of problem solvingCoach and guide the team as wellRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field7+ years' of full-stack web development; designing interactive web applications with either Angular and/or React, developing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs4+ years' managing or leading technical resourcesExperience working with geographically dispersed teamsProficiency with the following technologies: Basic, Rocket Universe, Java, JavaScript, JSF, MVC, Outsystems, Angular JS or React JS, TypeScriptStrong understanding of Agile methodology/conceptsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technicalPossess an exceptional work ethic, be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have the ability to independently manage a workload with multiple prioritiesPossess a solid understanding of OOPs concepts and design patternsAxos Employee Benefits May Include:
