Role Description         

We are seeking a Software Development Team Leader with a strong focus on developing production-grade software, extensive experience with Azure services, and proficiency in Java, Python, PySpark. You will manage a team and collaborate with a third-party vendor to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

Owning the development team in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of Data Integration applicationManaging all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.Keep up to date with the latest development software.Hire and train new developers.Provide mentorship to the team and ensure they enforce to development standards.Ensure adequate documentation exists.Build alliance and work with other partner pillars within Kantar for a shared goal.Direct team of 15-20 vendor team

Required

Essential:

Experience in the data processing applicationsPractical production experience in software implementationExperience working with high-level sophisticated problem definition using algorithms.Experience working in a distributed team.Background in software development or in a hands-on technical role Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating with third-party vendors.Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Desirable:Spark data processingCloud technologies – Azure, DataBricks, KubernetesSoftware Architectural skillsDevOpsAgile / Scrum certified.Strong understanding of data security, including encryption/decryption
