Kwik Trip Inc. The IT .NET Software Developer Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and supervisory role to the .NET Software Development team and is responsible for the development and support of Information Technology solutions to support and enable the growth of Kwik Trip in its primary objective of serving our customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide inter and intra-team vision, leadership, mentoring and guidance to .NET Software Developers.Coach and mentor soft and technical skills to the .NET Software Development team membersDevelop key metrics and service-level agreements for the teamCollaborate with teams leads and the Manager of Application Development Services to establish standards and guidelines for effective support, maintenance, and integration of software applicationsIssue analysis, resolution, and support of operational production systems that cannot be resolved by business users and first or second-level support techsEnsure all IT Service Management tickets are monitored, investigated, and managed within pre-agreed upon timelines and business expectationsManage all agreed-upon software-support structureSystem testing, implementation, and documentationMicrosoft SharePoint – Manage and maintain documents, lists, and pages within the Application Development site
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum of 5 to 8 years of related work experienceKnowledge of writing code using the Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET Framework.Experience with Xamarin FormsUnderstanding of Apple’s app signing and distribution processKnowledge of relational databases (DB2 & MSSQL)Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cosmos db)Knowledge of project management concepts / terminologyUnderstanding of Development Operations and Agile software development practicesAbility to use Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using best-practice file transfer processes (FTP, SFTP, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, Stored Procedures, etc.)Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting department deadlinesAbility to work independently and on a team of both IT and non IT co-workers / vendorsAbility to analyze complex systems, anticipate future needs, and provide concise, thorough solutionsPossess emotional intelligence as well as a servant leadership style
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or as needed to perform duties, with rotating on call responsibilities.
