Developing a new IoT product platform for the flexible integration of physical devices into the building automation system, focusing on secure IP communication and flexibility Software architecture, design and implementation of IoT devices based on Zephyr Evaluation and contribution to suitable open- and inner-source components with an "open mindset" and according to the "upstream first" principle Working in an agile development environment following Scrum principles, with the customer at the center

Your Skills and Experience

Degree or equivalent experience in engineering (computer science, electrical engineering or similar) Well-founded software engineering knowledge based on OSS concepts (Zephyr/Cross-Development, T1S/L...) for "constrained devices" (Cortex M33) Several years of experience in object-oriented design and implementation in various programming languages (modern C/C++, Rust, Python, WASM...) Development of a modern CI/CD pipeline for embedded devices (CMake, GitLab Runner, Lava...) with integrated quality jobs Willingness to take "ownership" of the product platform and assume extended roles (e.g., Architect, PO...) Proactive and motivated personality with excellent communication skills to technically lead a small interdisciplinary team in the future and report to stakeholder Excellent knowledge of German and English
