What you'll do As a Support Engineer on the Development Operations team, you are responsible as part of a team for coordinating and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our worldwide development and test teams. These systems are vital to ensure that our products are of quality for our customers and business. You will be operating Windows and Unix systems that are on-prem, in Cloud and hybrid. It will be helpful for you to have experience maintaining server systems at the Virtual Machine and Cloud layers as well as operating critical batch systems. You will be working with both the Development Support and Test Infrastructure functional teams. This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior manager. Responsibility Perform standard operating procedures to coordinate systems and to diagnose common issues Plan needed changes to minimize risk, perform changes to the plan, and ensure that the documentation is kept up to date Fix batch test “production” issues and maintain the plant as needed with minimal impact to our development users Assist in maintaining and operating the on-prem virtualized plant that runs the dev/test environment that includes Hyper-V, OpenStack, Active Directory, GitHub, Jenkins and Azure Cloud equivalents Be a subject matter expert in the use of the Test systems, collaborating with your colleagues to ensure it is working well and will continue to do so Raise issues proactively that might impact the Test environment and propose solutions taking their practicality into account Train new members of the team once qualified Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at DocuSign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BE/BTech degree or equivalent work experience 1-2 years industry experience in Software Engineering and/or Support Experience with Powershell or other scripting languages Familiar with Google suite or equivalent Preferred 1+ years of professional experience operating complex, scalable, reliable infrastructure 1+ years professional experience operating batch processes Experience with operating Azure Cloud Infrastructure Experience with Hyper-V Excellent problem-solving skills Familiarity with OpenStack technologies Experience with SQL Experience with Active Directory Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
