Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer – Test & Verification to join our team in Hazelwood, Missouri. Role Summary: The successful candidate will hold an active Secret Security clearance and play a crucial role in the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality for the program Position Responsibilities: + Set up and configure test environments. + Execute test cases and scenarios to verify the functionality, performance, and safety of software systems. + Identify and report defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during the testing process. + Provide test results and feedback on software design and functionality. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): + Active Secret Clearance + Proficiency in VB.NET or C#.NET. + Experience with SQL or other relational databases. + Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like xUnit, jUnit, or nUnit. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): + Knowledge of C++. + Experience with Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server). + Proficiency with project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.). + Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD tools. + Familiarity with Agile methodologies. + Strong mathematical analysis skills or a STEM degree. Typical Education & Experience: + Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of related work experience, Master’s Degree with 3 or more years of related work experience, or PhD with relevant experience.
