eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in Austin, TX
Job Duties: Participate in technical design and implementation to support the company's business and technical initiatives. Responsible for software design, user documentation, and code review. Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases for End-to-End testing and Load and Performance testing. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following company-specific software development best practices. Develop, maintain, and enhance the automation framework with industry-standard automation tools and frameworks. Continuously improve test automation practices and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on code quality, maintainability, and testability. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies. Ensure that the code he implements meets the technical requirements and company policies, based on his specialized knowledge of eBay's Customer Service Platform. Build and ship the code to production and non-production environments, using eBay's internal CI/CD tools to deliver the new features to clients. He will coordinate release activities with teams and drive the CI/CD of releases with pipelines. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or program analysis

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
