Job Duties: Estimate engineering efforts for projects and develop high-quality, high-performance code focused on scalability, security, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility. Plan implementations for projects and ensure timely completion. Identify and resolve production issues efficiently. Build relationships and ensure projects are completed on time. Develop object-oriented software and design using Java, Spring framework, and REST, code, and test complex software features. Conduct code review sessions. Make recommendations to reduce software project risks. Design, develop, and test high throughput back-end software systems. Develop innovative technical solutions. Telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Java or C# and proven use of test automation to certify your code
2. Design and problem-solving, matched with a passion for quality and large-scale engineering excellence.
3. Developing software applications using Spring Framework
4. Crafting RESTful web services within a distributed system environment
5. SQL
6. HTML, CSS, and Javascript
7. Creating internal tools and data processing/cleaning using Python
8. Experience in data management and cleaning with MongoDB and GCP
Salary: $137,259.00-176,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
