DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, analyze, develop, and test mobile applications, digital experiences, and next-generation banking technology solutions that satisfy the business and functional requirements. Design and develop complex Big Data pipelines in alignment with the business objectives. Help deliver tools and services that support banking technology products. Profile, debug, and performance tune distribution systems. Build, extract, transform, and load jobs. Write queries for ad hoc and scheduled data analysis to meet the business requirements. Develop map reduce programs for applying business rules on the data. Automate code migration to higher environment. Create visualizations and reports for the business intelligence team. Perform regular performance tuning to improve data processing and retrieval. Set strategies for solving complex internal and external technology domain issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Experience can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree. 
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Apache Hadoop; Hive; Hadoop Distributed File System; Sqoop; Unix Shell Scripts; Apache Maven; agile methodology; release management processes; production release lifecycle; supporting a production-level Hadoop cluster; Unix platforms; middle-tier and backend systems development in Java and Linux; designing and implementing petabyte-scale systems; Hadoop Enterprise Java development; NoSQL data platforms such as Cassandra; Pub and sub messaging using Rendezvous, AMPS, and Kafka; Hbase stream processing; Storm stream processing; Nifi stream processing; Spark Streaming; performing batch processing concurrently with visualization in Tableau; and deploying and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Experience in the skills can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree.

Full-Time. Salary:  $152,500 - $180,000 per year.
