Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of tools and processes to support AFRL Eglin Digital Engineering and Digital Transformation initiatives.Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalable and reliable application deployment.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment and management of infrastructure.Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible to manage and provision data pipeline infrastructure.Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, infrastructure, and deployments.Document software development and infrastructure processes, including design specifications and test plans.Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, and containerization.Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and technical leads.Experience working in an Agile team environment.Familiarity with DevSecOps processes.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Experience with SQL or other database technologies.Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Profiency in Python ProgramminBachelor of Science in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science).Master’s degree in a technical discipline.Knowledge of software development best practices and industry standards.Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
