What you will do Collaborate effectively as part of cross-functional engineering team and clearly communicate with stakeholders through virtual/in-person technical exchange meetings, planning sessions, and technical demonstrations Contribute to a full-stack geospatial application that uses AI/ML to enhance findings Contribute to program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation Analyze, design, implement, integrate, and test multiple applications Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation Estimate software development schedule within an Agile environment Formulate and define specifications for software applications or modify and maintain existing applications using engineering releases and utilities What you need to have US Citizenship with a TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science, with 4+ years of experience or 8+ years of experience in private or government environments in software engineering / systems development in place of education. Experience in Python, TypeScript, and React Experience or familiarity with developing containerized software applications Experience in or familiarity with DevOps or DevSecOps as well as CI/CD pipelines Broad knowledge of relational and non-relational databases Experience working in an Agile team environment Experience with collaboration, development tracking, and version control systems such as Confluence, Jira, and Git What we'd like you to have Experience with container runtime environments such as Docker and container-orchestration systems such as Kubernetes Design and development in Relational (PostgreSQL), Document Oriented (Elasticsearch), and Graph (Neo4j) databases Experience developing within a Linux environment About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
