DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build creative software solutions and break down technical problems. Develop secure high-quality production software, and review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with stakeholders and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Participate in communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies. Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Specialist, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
