Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and deliver market-leading technology products in a secure and scalable manner as a member of an agile team. Perform design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build software solutions or break down technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Software/Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Software/Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or related occupation.

Job Location: 1201 3rd Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary:  $175,000 - $185,000 per year.
