Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description Develop software that deploys and controls the different HiL benches. Participate in roadmap discussions to match software and hardware capabilities of the HiL benches. Plan software releases and deployments that fit the roadmap. Execute full software development lifecycle activities using C++ in an Agile Linux environment. Help interpret user requirements and specifications to create a proper software architecture. The team is currently in the development phase, executing on the development side with a base layer that can grow deployment. They are programming in C++ and will participate in test and validation of the HiL to ensure functionality. Recognize programming patterns and styles and follow them immediately. Use Git for deployment. Hard Skills + 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer + Proficient in C++ and Linux + Highly preferred embedded/hardware background experience + Experience with traditional Machine Vision, companies that make sensors, and industrial applications Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas. Work Environment Onsite setting every day. Will be interacting with other teams consistently, including teams in VA and CA.
