You will work closely with software, hardware, control algorithm, and project engineers, as well as our technical support, development, and product teams. Responsibilities include: - Working on the inception phase of projects, including requirement analysis, suggesting methodologies and technologies, and release planning. - Actively researching and keeping up with the latest trends in software development. - Influencing and strengthening the development culture of the team. - Inspiring, mentoring, and encouraging globally dispersed developers to apply industry's best practices. - Designing, implementing, verifying, and supporting UI web-based solutions and applications. - Being motivated to solve challenges and work independently. Hard Skills + 1-3 years of JavaScript and/or JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, and Dojo + Experience developing web-based UI including design documentation, development testing, and peer code reviews + Web Development – CSS, HTML, XML/XSLT + User Interface Design – User centered design, GUI & web page design, prototyping, usability testing + Object Oriented Methodologies – OOA, OOD, OOP, Design Patterns Soft Skills + Collaborative + Creative + Team-oriented + Independent problem solver + Motivated Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Saint Paul, Minnesota and some days remote.
